
This viscous sponge is found in areas of high flow
throughout the cave. Dr. Tom Iliffe was kind enough to contact Jean Vacelet
who believes "it possibly belongs to the Homoscleromorpha, some kind of
Plakina or Plakortis," but "A small fragment is needed" for
positive identification.
